Recipient of Science Advocate $3000 Grant
I was one of 45 recipients of a $3000 grant to mentor underserved students on science fair projects for the upcoming year. The award was distributed by the Society for Science and the Public.

I am one of four Drexel nominees for the 2017 Udall Scholarship.
Drexel Course Helps Students Connect To Local Community
The University City Review highlighted the work I’m involved with to teach local elementary students STEM topics. Through a special course at Drexel, students visit the classrooms and prepare lessons for the children to participate in. I’m currently working as the Drexel Community Scholar to support and expand this program to more students and schools. Currently we offer classes in Physics, Math, and Biology.

Drexel Fraternity Warms Philly’s Homeless With Thanksgiving Dinners
Every year for more than 15 years my fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi, has spent the day before Thanksgiving preparing about 100 home cooked meals for the homeless as well as 911 call center employees. I was lucky enough to be in charge of the event in 2015, and it was one of the highlights of my time in Phi Kappa Psi. This year CBS Philly joined us before 7:00AM to watch how the all the meals come together.
